Barbara JoanBENSONPeacefully, in the care of Randolph House, on the 11th of April 2025, aged 89 years.

Wife of the late Bob Benson, mum of Rob, mother-in-law to Louise, grandma to Lucy and Lizzie, step-grandma to Will and Ben, sister to Terry, the late John and the late Dave, and sister-in-law to Joan and Mary.

Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Wednesday the 30th of April 2025 at 12:40 for service and committal.

Donations in lieu of flowers would be gratefully accepted for "Anthony Nolan" c/o

Deepest condolences to Barbara’s family. I have fond memories of good times spent in Scunthorpe with Barbara, Bob and family, and of the times we went to watch the football in Manchester, Maine Road, and the drinks and Chinese food that followed. Always grateful to Barbara and Bob who travelled to Liverpool for my wedding. Great memories of the family, and will always be remembered fondly. Barbara used to say “it’s always sunny in Scunny” , it was when you around Barbara.
